WRITING: Summarizing
- Noah: a summary is retelling information that you learned in a shorter way.
- Rhea: summaries need a main idea. You can find the main idea by reading, annotating and thinking about why the author wrote their book/article/script/poster/etc.
INQUIRY: Grade 4/5 Fundraiser!!!
- Avarie: Grade 4/5's are fundraising money to donate to #TEAMSEAS! We will be collecting refundable items in blue bins at our school to bring to the bottle depot and donate to Mr. Beast and Mark Rober's #TEAMSEAS campaign.
- Quincy: we made summaries about the campaign that we will post around the school to get all of the other kids attention to donate to our cause.
MATH: Patterns
- Mulan: Early this week we did a pattern pre-assessment to show how much we already know about patterns.
- Mia: we did a Frayer Model to learn about patterns. We found out the definition, characteristics of patterns, and gave examples and non-examples of patterns. Look at the poster below!
