Writer's Workshop: Our Favourite Foods
As a follow up to our Best Part of Me writing that we shared at conferences, students were challenged to follow the Writer's Workshop structure to write about their favourite food. Grade 1s were challenged to use sensory language while Grade 2s extended beyond sensory language to include synonyms. All students continued their work with sky, grass, dirt printing as well as letter formation, spacing and sizing. First we planned, then we drafted, then we conferenced to edit our work and then we published! Check out the pictures below!
